In my life and work I’ve found a profound passion to foster meaningful connections by healing relationships both for myself and others. For the past 20 years I have worked in a variety of settings and through this work I found that broken connections are often influenced by trauma or attachment injuries. When we feel truly seen and understood amazing things can happen including meaningful connections. You might be experience distress or frustration in your daily life and feel like you don’t know why the same things keep happening. Using a compassionate approach we can work together to find the patterns that are keeping you from making meaningful connections and also find new ways to reduce the daily distress you are feeling.
I have advanced training in Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Complex Trauma Treatment and Somatic Therapy and currently work with adults and couples utilizing an attachment, trauma responsive, developmental perspective.
Supervision/Consultation:
I provide supervision for those seeking LMFT, LPC, LPCC licensure as well as provide consultation for professionals working in the mental health field. Using an Attachment Based Supervision model I focuses on the relationship first and how to use self-care to build a sustainable career. Trainings:
I also offer trainings/presentations for communities and other professionals. Some of the topics I have presented on are: Attachment, Complex Trauma, Anxiety , Divorce/co-parenting, Attachment Based Supervision, Self-care for the helping profession.
