They work together to better understand and resolve challenges in life. A systemic approach is used to look at the relational contexts that influence the individual, couple, and/or family. Together, work is done to uncover long-standing behavior patterns or perceptions that may be holding them back from experiencing a more meaningful life. There is a focus on identifying existing support systems, or building new ones, that will help strengthen their resolve to create and maintain healthy changes in their life.
Stephanie has experience implementing both direct and non-direct play therapy models with children, ages 2 years to 11 years. While working with children, Stephanie values collaboration with the parents/guardians to maximize therapeutic benefits outside of the office setting.
